Skyline Drive Trip: 4/08/01 -- Skyline Drive, Shenandoah Park, Va. PICTURES
The weather was gorgeous so I spent my Sunday afternoon in the Blue Ridge Mountains, driving along scenic Skyline Drive. Deer could be seen everywhere and I stopped my car in the middle of the road to take some pictures. The New Deal-era engineers no doubt had the Boxster in mind when they planned this road. Just don't take the curves too fast because there are a lot of hikers and wildlife. Also, the shoulder is just a bit below the rest of the road. |
